John Hults

John’s career has been shaped by a deep commitment to service and expanding possibilities for children, families, and veterans. Before joining Bezos Academy, he held executive roles across education, nonprofit, and global media organizations, including CEO of Conscious Discipline, COO of Committee for Children, founder of the Beijing‑based digital content company Blue Jean Images, and CFO/senior financial leadership positions in content, technology, and telecom companies—after beginning his career as a U.S. Naval Officer. An avid skier and bike commuter, John enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and leads a nonprofit cycling organization he founded with U.S. Naval Academy classmates to support veteran causes. His favorite children’s book (as approved by his three daughters) is The Runaway Bunny.
