Intergenerational Relationships Benefit Children and Seniors

McKnights Senior Living recently highlighted Bezos Academy Des Moines and North Dallas as examples of intergenerational programming onsite senior living facilities.

Both seniors and children benefit intellectually, emotionally, and even physically from intergenerational relationships. That’s why we’re so excited to work with our partners, Wesley Homes and Forefront Living Foundation, to make intergenerational relationships a reality for our students and their residents. From seniors volunteering at the school to the children bringing residents flowers, we’ve seen friendships form and smiles abound.
